The Best Way to Cook Corn on the Cob
It’s the peak season for corn on the cob, so how do you make it delicious? Soak it in milk or water, leave on the husk or strip it clean, steam, boil, roast, microwave or grill? So many ways, how can you know the best way to make great juicy corn on the cob?
Kitchen Survival Strategy
I have heard many young people going to college for the first time say, "I don't know a thing about fixing food. I do well to boil water." How many young marrieds are in the same boat? If they haven't had much experience in the kitchen growing up, it may be a survival experience those first few years until they figure out who does what.
In days past, it was up to the woman to do all the cooking, baking, canning, and such. In this generation, however, it is not unnatural for the man to be the head cook and baker. Many couples manage quite well this way. Others have found they have their niches to fill, and each one does their part to make the meal work.
Then there are the single-again's.

What is
Tzatziki? Tzatziki (pronounced
za-ZEE-kee) is a traditional Greek side dish/sauce made with Greek yogurt and
cucumber. It is a great-tasting, cool sauce for grilled spiced meats, a
dressing for zesty Greek salad, or a dipper for veggies or grilled pita bread.
Better yet, it’s so easy to make!
